Sunset at the beginning of a journey
I took this picture out of the window of the train. We had just boarded for our overnight ride from Albany to Toledo to Ann Arbor to go to my partner's father's memorial service. Quite a journey. It was a pretty sunset, and I particularly like the silhouettes in this picture. Not long after I took this photo, we went to the dining car and had a lovely dinner -- I had a leg of lamb and my partner had baked trout. It felt quite luxurious. I am smitten with train travel.
